After you complete your registration and activate your ACER account, you will be able to book your test session directly via your registration dashboard. Refer to the below on 'How do I book' for further information.

Technical requirements

What are the technical requirements for remote proctoring?

You must have access to:

  • A desktop computer or laptop (iPads, tablets or mobile phones are not suitable and Windows 8 operating systems are not supported)
  • A stable internet connection
  • A functioning microphone and webcam (some webcams have microphones built in)
  • Guardian Browser downloaded to your device
  • ACER Test App downloaded to your device

Please review the minimum technical requirements before registering for MSAT. If you do not anticipate you can meet these requirements and will not be able to complete your remote proctoring test sitting, complete your registration as normal and contact the MSAT Office for further advice about alternate test sittings.

If your equipment does not pass the technical readiness checks and the issues cannot be resolved by ProctorU’s live technicians, you should source another test location and/or equipment and complete the technical readiness checks again.

How do I book my remote proctored session?

You will need to complete your registration by 16 January 2026. Once you activate your ACER account, you will be able to book your test session directly via your registration dashboard. To access your registration dashboard, login to your ACER MSAT account, and click “Book session” on your 2026 registration homepage. Remote proctoring test sittings will be available on 24 and 25 February 2026 only.
